MTC Tourism & Travel Show

The Maryland Association of Campgrounds and Department of Natural Resources will share a booth at the upcoming Maryland Tourism & Travel Show at Arundel Mills August 28-30.  This is a great, affordable opportunity to introduce camping Maryland style to over 50,000 people while they shop with their families.  For less than a penny a prospective camper, campgrounds from Deep Creek Lake to Ocean City,  Southern and Central Maryland, Annapolis and everywhere in between, have a chance to chat with prospective clients who are sad to see summer end but are already looking forward next year to tree house camping, tents on the beach, themed water parks, log cabin mountain retreats, upscale resort sites, rustic wooded spots and more.  Many thanks MTC and Arundel Mills for providing an chance for small business owners to play with the big guys!

  1. The Baltimore Sun used to sponsor a similar tourism and travel show at the Baltimore Convention Center, but it has been axed from their agenda. So yes, this is a great opportunity for tourism and travel folks to have another event to showcase their products & services. And what could be a better location than Arundel Mills on the weekend kids go back to school. Going to be lots of traffic in the Mall–there is lots of traffic there anyway on a regular
day–so we’re looking forward to it at Maryland
Life–we have lots of staff coming during the
weekend to tag team the event by working our
booth–and then going shopping! Be there or b square!

  2. Howard County, Where Maryland Comes Together!

Meet the owners of Clark’s Elioak Farm (home of the rescued Enchanted Forest figures), Terrapin Adventures (zip lines!), and BWI Best Western Hotel at our booth! Pick up local attraction info like the Vintage BMW Motorcycle Museum!

Experience the good life in nearby Howard County, MD, just minutes from Arundel Mills! Ellicott City & Historic Savage Mill have everything your home & heart desires. Experience live music under the stars at Columbia’s Merriweather Post Pavilion featuring The Virgin Mobile FREE Fest that weekend. Explore the outdoors with 100 miles of trails, 40 lakes and ponds & 20 working farms. Epicurean delights await at trendy bistros and wine bars.
